The School of Chinese Medicine at Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) will hold the “HKBU Chinese Medicine Community Day” on 1 May. Nearly 30 Chinese medicine practitioners will provide free professional consultations and treatments at four HKBU Chinese medicine clinics. Participants will receive two dosages of basic Chinese medicine (herbal decoctions or granules).
The four HKBU clinics are located in Prince Edward, Tsim Sha Tsui, Sheung Wan and North Point. Registration will begin on 13 April, and the public can make appointments through the online booking system, by phone, or in person at HKBU Chinese medicine clinics.
Professor Sun Feng, Director and Professor of Practice of the Clinical Division at the School of Chinese Medicine at HKBU, remarked: “The Clinical Division’s 25th anniversary comes at an important moment in the development of Chinese medicine. With the generous support of Famous Horse Holdings Limited, we are able to hold this free consultations again. Over the past 25 years, we have remained committed to both clinical practice and teaching in Chinese medicine, nurturing many professionals in the field and bringing the wisdom of Chinese medicine to the community through free consultations. We hope this event will help more people appreciate the strengths of Chinese medicine in preventive care and chronic disease management, while promoting its culture and public health.”
